KLIM 09 & Strength Training - 10/04/09
At the gym today, after successfully drag my butt off the bed (I was close to going back to sleep after a major headache last night);
A1) Bench Presses - 3 sets, 8 reps. 110lbs
A2) Pull Ups (Mutual) - 3 sets, 10 reps, own weight
B1) Military Presses - 3 sets, 10 reps, 60lbs
B2) One Arm Dumbell Rows - 3 sets, 12 reps, 35lbs
C1) Hammer Curls - 3 sets, 12 reps, 25lbs
C2) Tricep Dips - 3 sets, 12 reps, own weight
D1) Barbell Wrist Curls - 3 sets, 12 reps, 20lbs
D2) Reverse Barbell Wrist Curls - 1 set, 6 reps (FAILED!)
Finished all supersets in 40mins, and rushed out to KLCC Park for a 70 mins run as prescribed. Surprisingly, completed continuous running for a total of 10.4km (back and forth Pavilion, Park, KLCC), and feeling good. It is great to feel the lungs getting stronger again...
And today, I was in the presence of greatness running among us - Stephan Fox, the host and mentor for The Contender Asia was at the park, running. Could it be that The Contender Asia, the new season is coming real soon... Woohoo, exciting!
Back at the gym at 8.45 a.m., and since I will be pending the weekend in JB for work, I went on the scale to record the weight (record every fortnight).
The last 2 weeks (27/03/09) was 83.8 kg.
Post Langkawi (02/04/09) was 84.2 kg.
Today (10/04/09) is 82.9 kg.
No running tomorrow, and probably a 5km in JB if I could find a spot by the beach.
Sunday we'll be crashing the Orange Run 2009 at The Curve (sapa suruh limit to 3000 runners saja... kata free run?).
