a long day

Monday started with a little bit of dissapointment, from not running enough on Sunday. I have also been working in the office the entire Saturday and Sunday (haven't do that in ages), and I was a little tired. So, yeah, this particular Monday was a bit helpless. All in my head was this big presentation to the Mayor of PjC on Wednesday, and the report I hae to submit later today.

I am praying to be lucky at all times, and be spared from any speeding ticket, coz everytime, without fail, I will be speeding towards Putrajaya.

By mid afternoon, I was between this panic streak to have my team finis their materials, printing, binding, and submitting the reports to the waiting planner by the big arch of PjC. Then off to a long meeting on facade report, then off to the modelmaker in Cheras (model for the presentation), and finally to the Peter Cook talk in KL Convention Centre.

OK, leaving all the boring chronology aside, the best part happened on my way, walking from the carpark through KLCC Park. It was 6.30-ish p.m., and there were hundreds of people running. I have never seen that much crowd there. I was so tempted to run on my office shoes... Man, I was seriously jealous... and one security personnel saw me and asked, 'adik, tak lari ke hari ni?'... hehehehe, I felt I could do a 10k there and then, with the crowd around...

Saw few my regular weekend running strangers too, they must have been stepping up their trainings too. I felt so left out...

I promised her that she'll see me running tomorrow morning (which I did). I have been seeing a lot of runners on the road too. Perhaps they are all training for SCKLM. Regardless, it is a very good development.
