Enough losing
I am calling a truce with the karipap. The first week of Ramadhan, karipaps wins all. None of the gyms, or any runs. I have either been 'playing poker' with BigBoss, or staring blankly at the heavy rain (takde payung to go to the car).
I sms-ed my significant other, told her I wanted to make some karipap at home. Bought all the ingredients, and cooked the fillings with dried shrimp, curry powder, herbs, shallots etc. Wifey gave simple instruction to do the dough, rolled them nice and round.
Man, while filling in was the first time this Ramadhan I felt 'berselera' nak berbuka.
We had some 25-30 karipaps done in a batch. They looked like distorted nona fruit, but mind you - it's full of potatoes and chicken (should have put the boiled eggs too). I seriously could not wait for them to be fried and eaten hot off the pan. Delish!
So karipap, I hope by making you this week, and eating you (mostly), we could call it even, and you could find some peace in you to allow me to run and go to the gym even tho it's drizzling outside, or how bad the traffic is.
Jangan kacau-kacau lagi aaa... I need my fits
