there's laughing in the car

Plan to run at the park was smashed by rolling thunders, and somewhat a blessing as left knee shows telltale sign of ITB returning. No, not now, not ever. I will take this rest, and will run tomorrow.

Iris benefitted from my missed runs, and as soon as she hopped into the car, she's like a popcorn, telling me all sorts of stories she have been had in school earlier (this is her second year at playschool). There were so many hilarious stories, among others;

Iris : Ayah, teacher ajar colouring today, tapi kakak dah pandai, kakak colour in the lines...
Me : Iye? Anak ayah ni pandai, good girl, kan...
Iris : a'ah... ayah, tadi kan teacher said sunshine ada kaki banyak-banyak, lepas tu ada hair banyak-banyak (apa la teacher bagi ajaran sesat macam tu?)
Me : why? macamana sunshine ada banyak kaki?
Iris : yelah, nanti sunshine tu nak pegi school
Me : What about the moon?
Iris : moon takde kaki, pastu the moon no need pegi school... dia kan dah malam... mana ada school malam (*sengih*)
Me : laaa, kakak pegi school belajar jadi pandai, nanti kakak nak jadi apa when you grow up?
Iris : ummm, kakak nak jadi Princess, yang macam Ariel tu... (the Little Mermaid)
Me : hehehe

Simple jokes like this takes all the stress away from a day's work.

Same case for me here.
Yang paling tak tahan, when we go for a walk at the park or shopping complex, baru kejap je jalan.. dia cakap.. "daddy, nak dukung!!!"...
Alahaii... terpaksa la buat upper body workout.. hehe.

Nik and Che ; Biasa sunggoh. My daughter kalau bab dukung2 ni, memang favourite lah. I envy you guys... when my daughter asks to dukung, it's 26k of constant heavy lifting, but I don't mind the carrying, lah.

How do you guys mengelak when they racun you for an ice cream or candies? hahaha

Bro, i think u've posted something that made me smile this morning rather than worrying about runs, trainings & LSDs.

My 2 days were equivalent to 2 intervals training. 1 attending Year 1 & another 4 year old kindergarten. Aiyo! Thank goodness big sister is independant.

i think the kaki banyak2 means the longer lines and the hair banyak2 means the shorter lines in between (haha sorry to break the comment pattern)
