Swim, Forest, swim...
On M.C. today, thanks to Dr. Deepak. It was my second appointment with him, and an MRI for my lower back. my 3rd, 4th and 5th backbones are heavily abused and dried off. There is a sign of fluid in the backbone (arthritis), and have scheduled for treatment soon.
Well, no off day is an off day - it is laced with many postponed errands which took a backseat from the other priorities nowadays.
But a swim is a swim. Kenot ponteng...
Headed out to the pool at the usual lunch hour, and felt a little flustered by the presence of 10-or-so Arab kids diving, somersaulting etc in the pool. School holidays - it keeps the kids and parents off the road, and transfered them to the parks, pools etc.
Started off with the usual 200m warm-up lap, and it preceded to the many more laps after that. In the end, finished 700m without wall breaks. Exhilarated, and even though the breathing was still problematic, it felt as though my first successful LSD, ages ago. It felt great. I felt breathing is becoming more constant, and relaxed, and flutter kick feeling better and more effortless, and always concentrate on extending and pull. I must have looked like a killer whale enjoying its summer swim hahaha...
I thank the cereals and a bowl of nasi goreng for breakfast, as opposed to the bowl of cereals only. Perhaps today I was well-nourished as compared to other days?
Anyway, a quick pitstop, and headed out for the remaining 300m, as time was still very early. Finished fast enough, but reluctant to leave the pool to attend to other errands. Total swim time 40mins, and I felt great. Slightly warm on the upper body and stiff on right shoulder, but the rest are OK.
Yeahooo...

ziff - It is hard for aku yang selalu fail bodily coordination. I need a lot of practice lagi, tapi I'm taking it in bits, lah. aku tengok macam best je diorang ni swim 3k, 4k, macam tak ter-imaginable bagi aku... tapi insyaAllah bro, kau prektis sikit2, with correct techniques, you'll swim in no time. Tapi aku masalah jugak nih, berat terus turun daa pasal swimming, tapi gian punya pasal :)

mech - naik scheh kot, tah apapatah - but I am no sifu (kash is :D, and I am her disciple)
diket - takdelah, that 700m is the ciput je as compared to other guys.. nak masuk triathlon pun tak lepas daa... :)
