Monday Blues
Sunday was Iris day, sitting at Iris' swim class (she has advanced to class grade 2 already!), spending the evening flying the kite with her and a pack of Double Decker's prawn crackers, a can of Mango Justea, to an artful afternoon doing many watercolour paintings with her.
You see, her Ayah has been a little selfish these days (well, he has to be XD)
Come Monday morning, I just watched the alarm clock, and snoozed the button, and went back to sleep. I was just sleep-deprived. The gym and upper body routines can wait - I need my sleep. The extra caffeine throughout the day is leaving me fresh late at night.
By the time I dipped into the pool for my lunch-swim, my heart was just not there. Fatigue? Hopefully not... not when I am enjoying every drop of it.
The preliminary target to do a long swim was not meant to see the light. Who says I need to smash my record every week? With my limited endurance, there will be little to smash anyway, so I'd keep the bigger picture here - passion
Headed to Kepong Metro for a geli-geli run. Targeted to do a 2 loops (8k), and that was what I did. But the pace was a little fast as I kept 2 guys behind me for good. Why that competitive streak did not happen after 34th km in a marathon when I need it the most, baffles me.
The run was good generally, no signs of fatigue, no pain. I plan to continue running few more days before resting, but the pace generally slower.
Damn, here I am close to 2 a.m. watching National Geographic Channel, waiting for a shuteye. Sundown is causing me more anxious than other marathons...
Seram...
