Swim Trial, Port Dickson

Singapore Biathlon is approaching fast! To be brutally honest - I am nervous like a jelly (what?) with the prospect of swimming 200 + 700 + 400 + 200m in an open water, the most of the leg as compared to the 10k run leg.

So, me and Kash have a proposed an open water swim in PD (by the Avillion Admiral Cove, site for PD Triathlon swim leg, no less), and the proposed date is (tentatively) as follows;

Date : Saturday, 22 January 2011, or the Sunday on 23rd. 
Location : Avillion Admiral Cove, Port Dickson
Time : 8.00 a.m. 
Distance : hopefully a full 1.5k into the marina, with a start of parallel swim along the shore
Assistance : Kash mentioned that hero hubby, Rais, will assist to kayak alongside the swimmers

I think I will swim wick a buoy between my legs :D.

So, come and join us. There is also a proposal for a BBQ on Sunday, and if we are lucky, we could ride in PD as well... jengjengjeng... or swim by the beach?

terima kasih tuan. saya masih belum terer terapung macam tuan untuk berkecimpung pada hari tersebut. lagi pun 23 Jan saya ada dating dengan Ahmad Lamchanak kat Lake Garden. Dia nak belanja saya pau kacang.

Diket - saya pun belum terer, tapi apakan daya, kalau tak ku buat, alamatnya, bergayut di stringlah bulan depan. Dating dgn Lamchanak ye? jangan lupa ambik balik kaki di sekolah agama tu...

You will float effortlessly, trust me. I have seen you swim.
I always get nervous when starting an open water swim. Half takut, half excited.

From what i heard from hanchik who did the trial swim last year, it is forbidden to swim inside the marina like what we normally do during triathlon race (itu time race exceptional la), kat situ bot lalu lalang, marabahaya boleh matikudasai woo..

anyway have fun guys!
Saya dah 4 bulan tak turun kolam, stamina swimming yillek.

DM : ahmad lamchanak nak belanja kau pau kacang ke, atau kau kena pau dgn dia secara kacang...Pau doriyaki takde? (gelak aku baca komen kau lah...!!!)

Deo - aku tunggu je kau buat treneng for Kapas Marang - nnt bila nak start POS? time tu, PD ni takde pape dah :D. Luvis dah declare kau sebagai student terbaik dia, kan :D

Kash - I half takut, half seram :D. Tapi thanks kash, I really have no idea when people say I can swim, coz I do not feel like I do :D. Ni lah bahana kalau takde self confidence :D

lagi pun 23hb ada cross country di Lake Garden, Ijam jom kita pow pau kacang ahmed lamchanak, baru buleh lari mencanak mcm Diket...he he

Dasat....aku kene tunggu pass swimming kat indoor pool PADE dgn berbagai gaya tanpa rasa seriau baru boleh angan2 buat open water swim. have fun guys!

Syah, betul cakap Nik. we cannot swim to the marina. but we will swim somewhere more exciting. lebih adventure. I reckon we will swim about 2 hours. 45 minutes out, rest and continue back about 1 hour or less.

I am asking some girl friends to come too.
